My thought process and rationale behind the test items is to
let students be able to correctly identify the exact number of days that are in
a week, to be able to recite the days of the week in sequence and to be able to
write them down in the correct order. And these help the student to know that
the beginning of another week actually starts from Sunday.
My rationale behind the essay item is to find out from the
student the days of the week that they like most and their reasons for choosing
the day and be able to find out what makes each day special to each student.
